On October 2, a PhD student from Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Nicolo Gusmeroli, gave a talk in which he presented the latest developments in the exact penalty method over discrete sets.

Melanie Siebenhofer defended her master's thesis

Our master student Melanie Siebenhofer at AAU completed her studies.

Melanie Siebenhofer worked as a master's student for the BiqBin project. As part of her work she implemented the C++ version of the stable set code. On July 27, Melanie defended her master's thesis (that she wrote under supervision of Angelika Wiegele and Elisabeth Gaar) and thereby completed her master's studies.

At the 23rd International Symposium on Mathematical Programming we presented our BiqBin project.

At 23rd International Symposium on Mathematical Programming we have presented our BiqBin project during session on High-Performance Computing in Optimization II.

The presentation was given by Timotej Hrga, a PhD student working on this project.
